PROFFESSIONAL HUNTER : JAPIE VAN RENSBURG

Japie grew up in the Soutpansbergmountain region in the northern Limpopo Province. He started hunting at the early age of 8 years old, his first antelope was a kudubull of 52 inches! Since then he has'nt stopped hunting. That gives him forty two years of experience in the African bush as hunter and one time soldier.When National Duty called in 1978, Japie joined the Army and excelled to the ranking of Captain as weapon instructor. 

He finished proffessional hunting school as best student. Japie guided hunts and photographic safaris to Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and all the provinces of South African.

Japie is fulltime PH at Bonlati Game Ranch and conduct all hunts personally. His motto in life always has been "Our clients become friends...." - as happy hunters from Australia, Holland, France, Denmark, USA , Germany, England, Mexiko, can testify!

All hunts are fair chase, on foot and ethically. Trophies are taken care of on the farm, and delivered to the Taxidermist in Polokwane with no extra charge.

Japie is a family man, married to Anita, manager of the lodge, and they have two daughters, Michelle and Anja.  You will experience him as a people's person par excellance.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• Bonlati is an hour’s drive away from the Kruger, and five hours from Johannesburg. Clients can be met at JHB Airport, and travel by road to Bonlati, or fly-in to Phalaborwa - 50 minutes from us.

• Our guides are well experienced in the whole of Southern Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa.

• Prices do not include airfare & taxes.

• Entrance fees, transport, conservation fees, all meals, guides, accommodation are INCLUDED in photographic safaris.

• All accommodation is subject to availability.

• 25% deposit is required when a booking is made, balance to be paid six weeks prior to departure. Your place is secured once full payment is received.

• Groups 4-8 pax on photographic safaris. Hunting safaris 2-6 hunters.

• References available.

• Bonlati is 1300 ha of pure bushveld.
